Job Description

Arthur Lawrence is looking for a Senior .NET Application Architect, as a Senior .NET Application Architect you will be responsible for designing and developing software applications that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. The ideal candidate Led and mentored a team of application developers and database engineers in the successful design, development, and maintenance of critical agency financial systems. You will translate business needs into architectural designs, lead development and testing efforts using the .NET framework and C#, and optimize system performance. Additionally, you will develop web applications with ASP.NET, ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces, and manage integrations and deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design system architecture and component interactions. Lead development, testing, and implementation of .NET applications using C#
Lead and mentor a team of application developers and database engineers
Use Azure DevOps and follow organizational practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Use ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core for web development, including MVC, Web API, and Blazor.
Translate business requirements into architectural designs that align with business objectives and organizational standards.

Must-Have:

10+ years of experience in .Net/.Net core and API development
3+ years of experience in application architecture, technical design, and technical diagramming
3+ years of experience testing high-volume, complex data integration processes.
1 year of experience with Azure Dev Ops Pipelines
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields.

Nice to Have:

Experience in financial business system support would be a huge plus.
Experience working with State entities would be highly preferred
